"Great place and gym but restaurant needs speeding up"

"Review of Westchester Marriott – Extremely Disappointing Experience"

My recent stay at the Westchester Marriott was completely overshadowed by a significant lack of customer service, particularly regarding a serious payment issue. Despite providing clear payment information at check-in, the hotel charged an unauthorized card without notifying me or attempting to resolve any confusion beforehand. What made this even more frustrating was the complete lack of accountability afterward. I reached out multiple times—through email, by phone, and even at the corporate Marriott level—and the only response I received was a casual “oops,” with no genuine apology or effort to correct the situation. At no point did anyone from the hotel take responsibility, offer to properly assist, or demonstrate any urgency regarding a mistake that directly affected my finances. For a brand that prides itself on hospitality and guest care, this experience was unacceptable. The mishandling of my payment information and the lack of follow-through from both the property and corporate offices have left me deeply disappointed. I expected far better from Marriott, and unfortunately, this stay has made me reconsider future bookings with the brand.
