"Great experience and wonderful hotel"

Loved everything! The staff were amazing and very welcoming. They answered any questions I had and even offered my daughter a fruit cup. The room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I am very critical when staying at a hotel and this one exceeded my expectations. We travel to this area usually once every year or so and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at.

The only complaint was that the air return in the room was a little noisy, but nothing to take away from a great experience.

Enjoyed our stay. I never seen such a busy hotel. Several wedding parties and they were up to the task. Enjoyed our breakfast and service. Make sure you add breakfast during booking to save money. Otherwise it’s $25 per person.

"Dreadful be prepared for communication barriers as reception staff cannot understand basic English"

Only thing I liked was the breakfast and waiting staff had more manners than the reception and hotel manager very insulted. Won’t ever use marriot again.

Being told by the young Africa American staff member to speak properly. When my husband told her this was rude and a resist remark she reported us to the manger and we explained as we are Scottish there was a better way of saying to us like other staff they asked us to please say again more polite way as this to us is a rasist remark . The manger who dealt with the days before complant issues we had with our phones and the rudeness of reception staff who failed to order a taxi for us to pick up our friend that was stranded lone women at one of the local sleepy hollow event had tried four times to get taxi . We were told to get this ourselves given two numbers we pleaded for the reception staff to phone a taxi as we could not get through . The reception phoned a taxi but my husband had to go to during this we were trying to get ready for a wedding had only an hour . The taxi picked her up charged her 50 dollers for a normaly 7 dollers . The incedent regarding the racist remark happened just before we were getting ready for the wedding one hour before as I was renewing our keys she asked for another 100 folder holding deposit I tried to explain I had paid this with the 4 th Oct booking as given no receipt could not show her as usual still having issue with the WiFi which as a Marriott member was ment to be straight forward failed again to work my husband or I cool not get into our account to prove what we paid found out later the receptionist yesterday had only taken one payment. However due to the issue after the young African American had asked my Scottish husband to speak properly and he had said that was rude and a rasist remark the manager asked us to leave the hotel even though we had already paid for last night the 4 th and 5 th October just one hour before the wedding we were shocked . my husband,not meant to get stressed due to his FND and mini stroke he had another turn which he later ok. We seeked help the father of the bride who intervened we could stay.
