A beautiful paradise with amazing staff - nothing is too much for them!

The staff is very kind and helpful.

Although the room is very nice, there is a wall around the villa and no view at all. Feels a bit confined.

The Villa was a beautiful private space, which was clean and well kept. The garden surrounding the pool was well kept, and a lovely setting for the Villa. On arrival, the host was extremely friendly and showed us around the Villa. There was good wifi, supplies such as: soap, shampoo, conditioner, bottled water and a travel hair dryer provided. The bed was beautifully made, and the Villa was cleaned each day upon request. We chose to have breakfast included; there was a good selection and multiple drink options. We enjoyed the Indonesian breakfast, smoothie bowl and banana pancakes during our stay- they were delicious and beautifully presented. Our host asked us to order each day, with timings very flexible. On our first evening at the Villa, the host was extremely helpful and took us to the local store to get some supplies- this allowed us to settle in well. Hosts were very friendly, easy to contact and even helped us with transfer to our next location. We would highly recommended staying at this Villa. In addition, it was in a great location nearby Ubud town and lots of places to eat and drink; but was still quiet and peaceful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Galih. The Villa it’s self is so beautiful and the pool is amazing! The staff however is that makes this place so special! They assisted us with anything we needed. We loved our stay!

Breakfast was decent, daily menu option of 4 cuisines with fruit coffee, could do with salt/pepper/sauce/condiments otherwise as expected. Bedroom itself very comfortable and clean, housekeeping are very good. Bathroom is nice, outdoor vibe but still clean. Nice aircon and good amenities including fast wifi and smart tv. Manager wisnu is lovely and pleasant, receptive to feedback. The location is a bit further from main ubud but the food/drink/massage places around villa were of much higher quality and it felt more private which we liked.

The lock on our bedroom door was dodgy, it locked but the doors didnt sit flush. luckily the villa had another big door outside pool but it didnt feel 100% safe to leave belongings as the door wasnt closing properly. there was some construction going on from the morning to mid afternoon whilst we were there which meant it wasnt relaxing to sleep or lounge at the villa as well. we didnt mind all the lizards/wildlife outside but it can be putting off for someone people. compared to other villas we are stayed at we thought the value for money could be better, e.g. complimentary airport transfer, better orientation to the area with suggestions on what to do where to go, options to eat etc. The safe needs to be secured into cupboard and it needs to be explained how to use it as it wasnt working properly for us.

Uma Galih Ubud Villa is wonderful. The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. Owner/Manager Mr WIsnu and his team are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Reasonably priced breakfasts (ordered a day in advance), both western or Balinese, were delicious. I especially appreciated the availability of ride services throughout the island of Bali, also priced quite reasonably.
