Casa Versace Salvador

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Pelourinho, very safe and easy to explore on foot. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were great, and the space was thoughtfully arranged. The property is surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, and the lively weekly drum procession. We also took short Uber rides to Barra and Rio Vermelho, both within easy reach. Antonella was a wonderful host, and our stay was fantastic. We’d happily return.

Overall: Great location in Salvador’s historic center. We stayed just one night before heading to Morro, and it suited us well. Pros Excellent location in the heart of the historic center—easy to explore on foot. Apartment with high ceilings; double bed on the mezzanine and bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs (very convenient). Host Antonella was very responsive and helpful.

There was a slight musty smell on arrival, likely because the apartment had been closed up. Bottom line: A well-located, characterful apartment with a responsive host—perfect for a short stay in the historic center, with just a minor note about ventilation.

Das Casa Versace liegt sehr gut, nur wenige Meter weiter befindet man sich in der wundervollen bunten Altstadt, über die Seilbahn nebenan ist man auch schnell in die Unterstadt gelangt. Fußläufig Supermarkt, Cafe für das Frühstück direkt gegenüber (10% Rabatt für Mieter des Casa Versace), nebenan zudem eine Lavanderia, mehrere Ateliers in direkter Nähe, der Platz Pelourinho befindet sich ebenso sehr nah. Antonella war eine überaus freundliche Vermieterin, sie schickte uns im Vorfeld bereits viele Informationen, war jederzeit erreichbar und ließ uns nach Absprache auch länger Zeit bis zum Check-Out. Im Haus befinden sich mehrere Wohnungen sowie ein Gemeinschaftsbalkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Unsere Wohnung war sehr geräumig, mehrere Schlafmöglichketen, 2 Bäder, Hochebene, Küche, alles im italienisch schlichten Stil.

Aufgrund vieler benachbarter Cafés, Bars und Plätzen aber auch der Trommelleidenschaft der Salvadorer kann es abends relativ laut werden. Leider gibt es in der Wohnung keine Möglichkeit seine nasse Wäsche (z.B. nach dem Baden) zu trocknen, auf dem Gemeinschaftsbalkon ist dies nicht erlaubt.

Location, Facilities and Comfort.

Apartamento espaçoso e com vista do mar, em uma rua bem agitada nas noites nos fins de semana, pudemos sair e sentir um pouco da energia das pessoas em festa na rua, a segurança parece boa, o apartamento fica a alguns metros de distância do largo do Pelourinho e da Casa Fundação Jorge Amado. Há também vários outros locais turísticos próximos e também excelentes restaurantes e cafés!

Senti falta de um microondas e uma TV, mas nada que pudesse atrapalhar nossa estadia.

The perfect location in Salvador! The house is beautiful, with amazing views. The hostess was amazing, always helpful.

The placement in the centre of San Antonio was perfect. It was confortable and a big appartment for two people.

There was only one toilet paper roll, a little less for 5 days. Otherwise everything was perfect.
