SANA Capitol Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff

Excellent location, spotlessly clean and very quiet room, good breakfast and good value. So much nicer than staying in the overly-busy central tourist area - a very nice 20 minute walk to the centre or 4 minute metro with the station only a few minutes walk nearby. Great access to the airport by metro. Really good breakfast. Despite one problem poorly dealt with at check-in, overall the hotel was very good and still highly recommend it.

After check-in in the evening, my room had no shower gel or shampoo. When I reported it, I was told it was “not possible” to refill, with no explanation or solution offered. I was also asked about my exact morning schedule when I said I would raise it at breakfast, which felt unnecessary for a basic request. The next morning, a different manager dealt with it immediately, apologised, and had it refilled within minutes. They were very professional and efficient. Good final resolution, but poor initial handling on arrival.

Breakfast excellent, plentiful variety of foods provided, all fresh and of good quality. Staff all friendly and helpful and rooms were cleaned to a high standard.

Coffee machine a little slow at Breakfast Used a lot of taxis, when I had originally planned to use public transport as I thought that the metro or the train station were a short proximity to the hotel (10 mins walk?)

Wir waren schon letztes Jahr im SANA Capitol und haben es vor allem wegen der Lage und dem Zimmerpreis nochmal gebucht. Man fühlt sich wohl und ist in kurzer Zeit im Zentrum von Lissabon oder bei der Metro-Station.

Das Zimmer war ein wenig klein und knapp, aber okay für unsere Bedürfnisse. Etwas düster vielleicht auch, da es nur Fensterschlitze gab. Und wie so oft in Hotelzimmern wenig bis gar keine Hänger für Kleidung. Dafür sehr ruhig. Den Frühstücksraum finde ich irgendwie schlecht konzipiert, vielleicht wären etwas kleinere Tische praktischer.
