Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown

This review is specifically for the service provided by one of your staff members, Donna. She was an older lady working during breakfast. Donna was taking guest plates and trays. Keeping the area clean and providing the best service with an infectious smile. I hope she is recognized because as a first time guest at this property and Hilton honors member her service will have my wife and I coming back. Thank you Donna for making our morning!

I had a great first night experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in San Diego. Check-in process was simple and quick. The evening reception was great. The bartenders were friendly and happy to serve. The next morning Diego made sure I enjoyed my breakfast. He served and did it with a smile. I asked for soft bacon and he didn’t hesitate to find the exact pieces I desired. Great first 24 hours. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the view of the bay is breathtaking. I look forward to the remainder of my stay.

Disaster from start to finish

Everything was great! The staff, location, valet, restaurant and customer service. A staple hotel for San Diego. My new favorite place to stay, will definitely plan another trip here again.

Only because I live about 4 hours away, the check in time is hard to work around. However, the hotel was flexible with early check in.

Madison at the property provided above beyond service. She was well experience, good research and went out her way to accommodate. Outgoing personality. Thank you, Ms. Madison Square Garden.

The location is great, and the receptionist Khalid was very kind, welcoming, and willing to help with everything we needed.

Cleanliness and room maintenance definitely need improvement. I had a semi-clogged bathroom sink, and the room was dirty. The staff changed our room and even upgraded us to one with a better view, but in the new room, the hall light wasn’t working, and there was water leaking from the side of the bathroom. They fixed the issues pretty quickly, but my expectation was that these things should have been addressed before our arrival. The cleanliness was the same.

Good location. Spacious room.

Breakfast buffet requires waiting in long lines for an employee to ladle out the food for each guest. Also, there are no convenient nearby restaurants for breakfast options.

Clean, professional staff. Danna provided excellent service! Hotel is close to shopping and all types of food.
