Beautiful hotel, great fine dining restaurant with outstanding service (Sarah - you were superb), excellent suite (6th floor) with amazing views of the alps across the Lake, and of course the giant fountain. Highly recommended.

We went to breakfast at around 9.45am There were plates of little scrap bits of smoked salmon. A tiny end piece of avocado. I expected the foods to be replenished. They were NOT. We ended up eating dried up rice. A few cold spring rolls and very cold dried up fried potato wedges. This was extremely disappointing. We didn't enjoy breakfast or the experience in the Woods restaurant. At breakfast, there were 4 or 5 other couples that arrived after we sat down. They all had waiters going to them and bringing coffee. Not one of the 5 or 6 waiters that were hanging around asked us if we wanted coffee or hot drinks. It was shocking!! I finally had to flag a waitress to bring us the bill. She gave me the bill. Our breakfast totalled 100 swiss francs. I paid with cash and waited for someone to come and collect it from the table. After 25 mins, we got up and took the money to a waitress and asked for a receipt. She said she'd bring one. She never returned. We were desperate to get on with our day. Eventually we asked again for a receipt. A waiter asked us if we ordered just one breakfast. This restaurant was NOT busy. How on earth did no one know what anyone was doing?? Customer service in the restaurant was dreadful. We didn't bother going back in to the Woods for breakfasts or dinner for the remainder of our stay.

Being ignored in the restaurant and food not replenished. No smoked salmon or avocado left and only dried up food available. Utterly dreadful! The TV in the room was not working well. The screen would randomly turn black every 15 minutes or so. The shower backed up and didn't drain. On day of arrival. There was no body wash. The cleaning staff had left two bottles of hair conditioner instead of bodywash. The maid apologised the next day and switched out one of the conditioners for a bodywash.

This is truly an iconic hotel. Throughout history, it has hosted some of the world’s most distinguished personalities — not only because it is the closest hotel to the United Nations, but because of its unmatched service, luxury, and attention to every detail. From the first impression to the last, everything here reflects elegance and professionalism. The cuisine is outstanding; there is absolutely no need to dine elsewhere, as the hotel offers some of the finest breakfasts, lunches, and dinners one can find in Geneva — on par with the highest standards worldwide. I would rate it 9.9 out of 10, simply because perfection should always leave a bit of room — though this hotel comes incredibly close. A special mention to Valentina at breakfast and Omar at dinner for their exceptional attention, warmth, and professionalism. They truly embody the spirit of excellence that defines the InterContinental Geneva.

Awesome experience! The hotel facilities itself were great (clean, comfortable, up-to-date and up-to-standard). We enjoyed the gym, sauna, business center and restaurant. With that being said, the service was one of the best we've received at any hotel. Starting with the restaurant, the Woods: Sarah, Victoria and Lea were kind, sweet, thoughtful and accommodating beyond expectations. Their approach to their work started our day off on the right foot every morning with a great breakfast. From there, Albert and Vincent were phenomenal concierge as well. Their recommendations and attention to detail helped us make the most of our limited time in Geneva. Then, the receptionists and gentlemen helping with transportation/luggage were also great. Also, room service was fast and equally accommodating. This hotel has a can-do attitude and if they didn't have what we needed they were going to go to the extreme to get it. If we are ever in Geneva again, we would easily stay here again and again. Mahalo Nui Loa to you all.

It’s a lovely hotel, with a nice area around it, and had a wonderful time walking through the botanical gardens down to the lake. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Sarah in the restaurant always went above and beyond at breakfast with a welcoming smile which is quite appreciated when traveling solo on business. I would definitely stay here again.
