"Amazing hotel"

Victoria greatest us with warm , she had been very professional and kind with us, was given us very good advice for choosing snacks and drinks, she démonstrated excellent skills in communication and very fluent in several languages, she was taking care nicely of her customers...from lahouari , World Health Organisation (WHO)...please keep this staff with you, she is a gem....bravo a toute l équipe

"Nothing short of Amazing"

I was really impressed by the level of professionalism at intercontinental. Even though it’s a 5 star hotel and technically shouldn’t be a valid reason but I was really impressed. Especially at the check in counter how I was received and made to feel right at home to Victoria (breakfast lady) always meeting us with amazing smiles that I would remember for a long time this is an experience I would want to relive due to how amazing this was. Thank you Intercontinental Geneve for making my first time in Europe an amazing experience. PS Victoria is and was always amazing. Excellent reception with a multilingual approach.

"Outstanding hotel"

Beautiful hotel, great fine dining restaurant with outstanding service (Sarah - you were superb), excellent suite (6th floor) with amazing views of the alps across the Lake, and of course the giant fountain. Highly recommended.

"Disappointed. Would not return."

We went to breakfast at around 9.45am There were plates of little scrap bits of smoked salmon. A tiny end piece of avocado. I expected the foods to be replenished. They were NOT. We ended up eating dried up rice. A few cold spring rolls and very cold dried up fried potato wedges. This was extremely disappointing. We didn't enjoy breakfast or the experience in the Woods restaurant. At breakfast, there were 4 or 5 other couples that arrived after we sat down. They all had waiters going to them and bringing coffee. Not one of the 5 or 6 waiters that were hanging around asked us if we wanted coffee or hot drinks. It was shocking!! I finally had to flag a waitress to bring us the bill. She gave me the bill. Our breakfast totalled 100 swiss francs. I paid with cash and waited for someone to come and collect it from the table. After 25 mins, we got up and took the money to a waitress and asked for a receipt. She said she'd bring one. She never returned. We were desperate to get on with our day. Eventually we asked again for a receipt. A waiter asked us if we ordered just one breakfast. This restaurant was NOT busy. How on earth did no one know what anyone was doing?? Customer service in the restaurant was dreadful. We didn't bother going back in to the Woods for breakfasts or dinner for the remainder of our stay.

Being ignored in the restaurant and food not replenished. No smoked salmon or avocado left and only dried up food available. Utterly dreadful! The TV in the room was not working well. The screen would randomly turn black every 15 minutes or so. The shower backed up and didn't drain. On day of arrival. There was no body wash. The cleaning staff had left two bottles of hair conditioner instead of bodywash. The maid apologised the next day and switched out one of the conditioners for a bodywash.
