Location and parking was convenient. Front desk receptionist excellent made suggestions and helped me decide if I wanted to do Uber because I had never done Uber before. She clarified questions like what time is breakfast served.
The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent!!! Breakfast was one of the highlights Of the trip, service was kind and courteous.
The front desk was too close to the bar, everyone was having a great time at the bar, but they were loud so it was hard for me to hear the front desk attendant

I ended up staying here due to a friend's unexpected, emergency, hospital stay. Since it was last min. And under rough circumstances, I was so happy to run into such a professional and friendly staff. Yes, the hotel is renovated and very comfortable. Great bathroom, shower, etc. But the people here really make this stay stand out. I stay at hotels roughly 300 nights per year and I can say this is one of the best hotel staff members I have ever run into. It is more like staying with old friends or family. Daniel and Jessica of the front desk are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Telly the airport shuttle driver is just a delight. He has such a warm spirit about him. Crystal, in the marriot lounge, is absolutely amazing. She has such a great smile and really takes care of her guest in the lounge area. Just a delight. She learns the names of her guest and remembers them. And Mark, the unsung hero in engineering, was so helpful and polite. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a nice firepit area for relaxing, too. Thank you all for a wonderful, compassionate stay.

I chose to stay at this hotel on my arrival to Charleston because my flight was getting in too late to pick up my rental car, enjoy the city and I did not want to pay for parking at one of the inner-city hotels. It had some nice ambiance indoors and outdoors that was better than your typical airport hotel. The hotel bar was busy but service was great. Comfortable beds and room. There is a nice fountain outside, too.

My family and I had to getaway from the house because we had a hurricane come through and left a destructive scene. No power no gas. Had to work and tried to sleep in 85 degree heat. Not fun. Thanks to Simphonee for the help.A great place to stay and clean.
