Great hotel with a great location with access to good local food and beverage experiences. Friendly staff and clean/comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend.

The hotel facilities and rooms are amazing, seem like they’re recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable.

Nanda was very attentive and responsive to ensure we had a wonderful breakfast.

I stayed 2 nights on a work trip. The stay overall was nice. Summer at the Midlands restaurant made my trip! She was such a delight to talk to and her service was top notch! Honestly, I wish every restaurant I go to had someone like Summer!

I was greeted by Christian who was very pleasant and helpful but struggled with the terminal to complete a simple check-in. The experience was a downward spiral from there. We ended up moving terminals to complete the transaction. I received no instructions, or details on Wi-Fi, amenities, etc. I think we were both so frustrated by the difficulty of checking in- he neglected to offer details, and I did not bother to ask. However, obtaining information for your stay should never be a burden of guests- it should be offered. I had previously checked-in via the app and went to pick up physical keys in case the mobile did not work: when I went back upstairs none of the keys worked and I had to be moved to a different room. By this point, I am frustrated and tired from hauling all of my belongings from the dark, dingy, and overcrowded garage. Rooms are extremely small, beds are even smaller and accommodations are seriously over priced. There is a small dorm room refrigerator and no microwave in the room. While there is ample hanging space, the rooms lack drawer space and storage otherwise. Cleaning staff left filthy rags in the bathroom underneath the sink. As those staff servicing our floor immediately informed us that they do not speak English, I did not bother to try and ask that they remove the cleaning rag. It was hard enough getting fresh towels and trash removed using gestures, instead of words to overcome the language barrier. The remainder of the stay was mediocre: no one went out of their way to be particularly helpful or friendly. One front desk staff with a mask on seemed annoyed by requests for assistance of any kind. Most of the time you had to wait for someone to appear from the staff office to receive service at the front desk. The only walkway from the garage to the room is an extremely narrow walkway which by passes the pool,. This made for a journey that was humid, crowded and an air space that wreaked of chlorine. Despite the strong chemical smell, it did not look like a well-maintained pool. What is worse is due to heavy foot traffic, this walkway afforded guests using the pool zero privacy. The garage and crosswalk itself is filthy, dark, and there is trash and muddy stains everywhere. I never felt safe going in and out of this facility. If this facility was not near the event we were attending all weekend, I would never have selected it. The millions they must have spent on the renovations mentioned on the website was a complete waste and so was the $750.00 cost of my stay. Needless to say, I will never return. To be clear, I certainly in good conscience could not subject anyone else to this overpriced nightmare. Do yourself a favor, and stay away : save yourself and your money Fellow travelers, consider yourself warned.

The Marriott staff did a great job with room placement near the Concierge Lounge. Jennett, was a very kind and listening Concierge who made our stay to the Marriott level of quality service.
