staff was very friendly. The location was close to the town. they have a tavern with entertainment 3 nights of the week with a DJ and Karaoke.

Pillows were small than they should be for a king size bed. There are no hooks to hang you towels to reuse them. Getting to the hotel from off the highway the first night was confusing.

Breakfast was fine, housekeeping staff was the best we’ve had. We’ve stayed quite a few times at this location.

Nonsmoking facility, first room smelled disgusting like cigarette smoke. Got moved to another room that didn’t smell as strongly but still had a cigarette smoke scent to it. The whole top floor had an odor. One of the nights overnight the power went out for hours. Woke up to medicine and food that was in the fridge being not up to temp. I’d assume they don’t have generators. I complained about lost meds from the power outage to front staff who didn’t offer any compensation on our stay at the very least. The hallways were lined with glow sticks for lighting when we woke up. It was quite the disappointment after having so many great stays at this facility.

The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and the beds were comfortable. The room and the hotel as a whole could use an update. Everything just seemed a little outdated. The room: There was a slight, almost cigarette, smell in our room and the light in the room was extremely dim. So it was difficult for my wife to do her makeup in front of the full length mirror. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom water pressure was great. Breakfast: This was probably the most disappointing.. we got downstairs around 9:30am and breakfast closed at 10:00am (on a Saturday morning). There were no scrambled eggs left, there was no regular waffle batter left, all the juices from the juice machine needed to be changed and only dispensed water with maybe a hint of juice, there was no cream cheese left for the bagels, and the only trash in the dining room was completely full. I never saw anyone working there come out while we were there. The area: we were there for a wedding so I can’t say much about the area. I will say that it was difficult for some of our friends to take an Uber back to their hotel at night. We had an easy time getting an Uber during the day but it took at least 30 minutes for friends to wait for an Uber late at night. Overall Thoughts: For a one night stay, it was completely fine, no real complaints aside from the breakfast disappointment. I just wouldn’t suggest a stay longer than 2 nights.

Our stay was just what we needed. Breakfast was full of choices and and plenty to eat and drink. A perfect stop in a lovely town.

I was in the area for a wedding and this was one of the recommended places to stay. The proximity to the wedding venue was ok.

The free breakfast was nothing to write home about.
