Cozy and fully furnished Japanese style room. The information and instructions are very detailed and clear; the host is friendly and enthusiastic. The building's location is very convenient to go to famous Kyoto attractions, only 15 minutes by bus to Gion.

The apartment was clean and well setup for 5 guests. The shower was hot and the wifi worked well. There are several local restaurants within 5 minutes walking as well as Lawsons and 7 Elevens

There are no chairs at all so you sleep and eat on the floor, this may not suit some people. The location is about a 20 minute trip from the main attractions in Kyoto.

Very convenient, close to subway and Kyoto station. Spacious, clean and overall very nice and cozy place. Definitelly will visit again when i am in Kyoto.

It does what it says on the box, mostly. Reasonably close to Kyoto Station, as always in Japan safe and a Lawson's 2 min away. Was not hard to find and was not hard to get in. Staff courteous and apartment clean.

Quite small for 6 people, with a very cramped cooking area and shower. Bedding was ok, but not really great. Toilet is in an unheated area, so nighttime visits were uncomfortable. Small for a two adult, two children and two grandparents, so keep that in mind.

Convenient and Cozy Stay for Families We recently stayed for three days and loved how convenient this place was to the stations and town. The location made it easy to explore the area, being just a 5-8 minute walk to shopping centers near the train station. A small family market around the corner was a great perk, along with water machines available in every corner to stay hydrated. The accommodations were cozy, with one large room fitting four people comfortably on futon-like mattresses. Having the bathroom and restroom separated was especially convenient when sharing with three other family members. The room also included a small fridge, a hot water pot, coffee and tea, and essential toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The warm bidet and ample toilet paper were a nice touch. Checking in and out was a breeze. Cons: The stairs were narrow and steep, making it challenging to bring up heavy luggage (not ideal for those with physical disabilities or families with young kids). The alley leading to the property was small and dark, which could feel unsafe at night but was fine in reality. The lack of an elevator, washer and dryer, or dresser drawers meant we had to live out of our suitcases. Guests are required to take out their own trash and wash dishes before checking out. Despite these minor inconveniences, the property's charm, convenience, and affordability made up for it. Next time, we'll pack lighter since laundromats are easily accessible nearby. It's a simple, functional place—not fancy—but perfect for families looking for a budget-friendly stay close to the city and shopping. We’d happily stay here again!

Excellent place for family side of 4 people. Very clean, great location, cooperative staff, clean processes. We just enjoyed it.
