A great location if you are interested in a shopping experience. Walk to Fashion Island

Great place. Saved me a trip home

This was so disappointing on so many levels. You pay an exorbitant resort fee AND a valet parking fee in addition to the price of the hotel itself. The hotel itself is modern and nice, but I had to call multiple times to get housekeeping to come clean the room - for a hotel that claims it's high end, this was a letdown. In addition, the floorboards in the room were loose so the floor warped weirdly. The place is a bit of a scene, so even if you text to get your car ready, it takes over 15 min just to get out of the hotel! I was late multiple times because of this even though I texted to get the car 30 min before leaving. They either lost the request, ignored it, or just plain shrugged and said there were a lot of people. I understand that it's a busy weekend, but I'm also paying a lot. When I arrived, the room wasn't ready even though it was past 4pm, and I had to take a meeting. The front desk sent me downstairs to the business center, but forgot to give me a key so I ended up sitting on the floor of an empty yoga room with multiple people walking in and out - the check in process took forever, and overall, every encounter with the hotel took much longer than it should have, so if you're expecting efficiency or a high level of customer service, stay somewhere else.

Gorgeous property, two pools, bar and restaurant. An excellent place to celebrate or just relax. Thank you to the amazing staff

Fabulously renovated hotel in the heart of Newport Beach's shopping and business district. Hotel has great views of the harbor and neighboring golf course with very easy access to great amenities, beaches and John Wayne airport, The rooms are clean and well appointed. Will always choose this hotel for business or with friends and family when in town.

Great stay at this hotel.

I was at VEA Newport Beach for an event and used the hotel’s valet. My car arrived without damage to windshield, but when it was returned, there was a huge crack in the windshield. Security footage confirmed that there was no damage when I dropped the car off. Even with this clear evidence, the hotel still refused to accept responsibility or offer any help. This is not what you expect from a luxury hotel. If you’re going to an event here, avoid valet at all costs—or better yet, stay somewhere that actually takes care of its guests and their property.
