St Gallen Haus designed an amazing eight day trip for our group of 21 people that included Quito, Galapagos, Cotopaxi, Otavalo, and much more. The coordination of activities was excellent -- I can't imagine how we could have seen more in eight days, yet we never felt rushed. Our guides were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating to the special needs of our group. The hotels were clean, comfortable, and well chosen. The restaurants were excellent and enhanced the delicious food with stunning views and great service. Our group had an age range of preteen to 50, and St Gallen Haus made sure that this trip satisfied the interests of everyone. Thanks, St Gallen Haus, for an unforgettable experience in Ecuador! My third stay at St-Gallen in so many years (3 months in total), and I’m still happy with the place! Great location, literally touching the huge and beautiful Guanguiltagua Park, close to downtown but without the pollution, easy public transportation if you walk 5 – 10 minutes (Ecovia) and easy going guests. Very safe place and in a good neighbourhood. Terrace on rooftop is excellent!

St. Gallen house is a 100% recommendable guest house, especially for long term stays. I stayed there for 4 months during my exchange. It is a safe, cosy, clean and tidy house with a top terrace with a very nice view over the city. I met a lot of great young people in the house during my stay, and I will definitely come back!

For 4 months I've lived in st. Gallenhaus, where i had an amazing time, made a lot of friends from all over the world, had some great parties and most important: I felt home here. Sebastian is a great host who will always help you when needed. Besides that the house clean because is cleaned everyday. Thank you Sebastian for giving me a place that I can call home on the otherside of the world.

Clean. Organized. Friendly people. Amazing place. Sebastian is the best host! I did a couch surfing there for 1 night because I had problems in my other hostel and he with Yojackson organized all the place to me. After, I had a Great room (as all in a house) for 3 nights more.

Lived at St Gallen Haus for two months in June and July through a global education program. The 9 students and I absolutely loved our experience. The view from my room on the second floor was breathtaking; the best way to start and end any day. Close proximity to two awesome parks and a very clean grocery store. A fantastic home base while working to visit places like the Galapagos, the Amazon, Cotopaxi, and Mindo.

Very nice treated, tons of space and great view, two bars and restaurant outside the place, very convenient. The owner is very friendly and accessible, the housekeeper is very friendly and always cool with everyone around.. Great service, made me feel home

Very nice place, friendly, safe and quiet but not boring, nice rooms, amazing view from some rooms (mine) and from the terrace on top of the roof. Great location, 50 meters away from from the entrance to the huge and pretty Parque Metropolitano Guanguiltagua, higher than the rest of the city, so the quality of the air is much better than in the Mariscal or the rest of the city, and cooler during the day. The owner, Sebastian is helpful and friendly, the place is clean and well organized. The guest are usually staying for long periods of time (weeks and month) so you get to know people and sympathize. I’m 53 years old and I did not have any problem in feeling comfortable with the younger crowd. There is a good spanish school (Don Quijote) close by (5 minutes away on foot), and the neighbourhood is safe. 2 equipped kitchens for your meals, little exercise room, and Internet of course. I highly recommend this place.

I arrived in January for 2 weeks and I'm still here ! You are in a quite area in the North of the city but you are close to everything for your day-to-day live but you can also be in a very short time thanks to the public transportation near The Mariscl, the Historical Center or the Carolina Park. You aslo have just behind the building the Metrpolitano Parque for sport or leisure The proprietor Sebastian is friendly and helps you in everything you need. A place to be recommended
