St. Gallen Haus

St.Gallen Haus is really good choice to stay just for a few nights or to pass some longer time there. I lived for more or less 6 months there because it provides good living quality and is situated perfectly. The staff is friendly, helps you with whatever you need and delivers high-quality services. I would recommend it for everyone who is going to pass a few days in Quito and even more to them who are going to pass a longer time period in this wonderful city, which can offer everything you desire. You will meet people from all around the world in a nice environment right next to a big natural parc where you can get some fresh air, take a walk or do sport. Enjoy it!

Everything about our stay at St. Gallen Haus (suite) was entirely positive. The proprietor was responsive and always kind. The location allows for easy access to the commercial and social life of Quito while also offering the option for peace and quite next to leisurely hikes in the forest of Parque Metropolitano.

Although I was only there for two days, my stay was very comfortable. I enjoyed a spacious single room with double bed and shared facilities, including bathroom, kitchen and common area. The staff were all more than helpful, giving me advice on places to visit around the city and helping to arrange a taxi to the airport as well. So, all in all, a very satisfactory experience.

Excellent location. St. Gallen Haus is located in a good area and it's close to the city. Sebastian is an amazing host. He tries to help wherever he can and makes you feel welcomed to the St. Gallen family. I really enjoyed staying there for about 6 weeks. The rooms are nice and the whole house is very clean. I would recommend Room Number 1. You will love the view. Just don't forget to wash your dishes! ;)

Best thing about the property is the location. I love Batán Alto. Central enough to be useful, but not still with plenty of peace and quiet. The property is fine. The kitchen is a little old, as are some of the fittings, but everyone here is super friendly. I had a room looking out over the city. Best view to wake up to every morning!

St. Gallen Haus is very well located. The athmosphere is great! You can make friends easily but it's not like you have to party every night. Rooms are nice. If you choose an accomodation with shared bathroom you will share it with one person only and it's cleaned every day. Kitchen is also very clean and there are all kinds of utensils for cooking. Common areas are good. There is a great roof top where you can have a greater view of the city and mountains, have fun with friends or even get a tan. The host is very helpful and friendly. Felt like home from day one!

If you need to stay for a longer time in Ecuador it's a very nice place to live. I lived there for 3 months and I had a very good time. It's like a big shared house with a lot of international guests. Sometimes it's party-time and sometimes it's just lovley to hang around on the roof terrace who has an amazing view on Quito. The landlord Sebastian is always very helpful and tries to make the best for your stay in his house.
