Marriott St. Louis Airport

This is one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. After friends staying in the hotel found black mold all inside both of their comforters, we discovered the same in ours. Asked the front desk for replacements and they never arrived. Saw multiple rooms with their comforters in the hallway and a fellow disappointed traveler holding his in line at the front desk. So this is something the hotel knows about but chooses to tolerate. Add in a smoky smelling room, a cramped bathroom, a toilet that doesn’t flush, a bathtub that drains slowly, and a dated overall appearance and you have yourself quite an experience. Take a pass on this place.

Things started off wrong when the airport shuttle never came, so we ended up having to take an uber. Things when downhill from there. The sheets were full of holes and the towels stained. We ordered room service and it came in to-go boxes with no utensils. Now we’re waiting on the airport shuttle to go back to the airport and the shuttle service is running late again. I’ll probably stay at the Hilton down the street next time.

The property common areas lobby, dining area are spacious and well maintained. The bedrooms could use carpet shampoo and new caulk in the bath. Our room wreaked of smoke and we did not have room service, cleaning.

The hallways and area look like they haven't been remodeled in 30 years. The fake courtyard that used to be a pool looks like something in a trailer park.

Wonderful experience

They didn't have the room that I booked then I had to purchase another room just to fit my family comfortable and they did nothing to make it easier for me.

Proximity to airport. Great shuttle.

Room was a dated dirty dump! I would have rated it 2.5-3* at best! Staff gave impression guests were a necessary evil and were an interruption in their social interaction with one another.
