Marriott Tampa Westshore

I think it is the worst Marriott I've stayed in. They charge for parking in a mostly empty lot (no street parking either), the front desk is a bunch of smug, condescending people, the restaurant is expensive and sub par. I will say that the room was nice.

Outstanding stay, great service. Shasta was wonderful. She made each Concierge Room visit an exceptional experience with her attentive service, kind smile and warm energy. She made us feel welcome like we were visiting a family familiar place.

We appreciated that this hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a convenient shuttle service to take you anywhere within 2 mi and Raul was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was quite sufficient, and we had lovely service from Cynthia.

This hotel is Amazing with phenomenal staff.. The shuttle team is the best in the country-especially Mr. Rod! He was very professional, accommodating and polite. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with the shuttle service from Marriott, thanks to Raul. From the moment we stepped in, he set the tone—professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell right away this isn’t just a job for him; he takes real pride in making sure guests feel taken care of. The ride itself was smooth, comfortable, and perfectly timed, but what really stood out was Raul’s attitude. He was friendly without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the area, and made the entire trip feel effortless. It’s rare to come across someone who delivers that level of service consistently—he turned what could’ve been just a basic shuttle ride into a memorable part of our stay. If you’re lucky enough to get Raul as your driver, you’re in good hands. Marriott is doing something right having him on their team.
