THIS VENUE IS GREAT. Inadvertently left comments about another motel (different brand) on this motel through a competing reservation site. This serves as a good faith correction. THIS AMERICA's BEST Inn (Winston-Salem, NC) served its purpose well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Staff, Room, and Safety.

Room was good size. Was comfortable bed mostly.. room heater was good. Shower water very hot good.

I understand this was older hotel. Its being repaired but whoever is repairing it is doing crappy job. My room was recently repaired. But wasnt completed and the vinyl on bath floor was loose. Room lighting sucked and had broken lighting and non working light switches One elevator was not working and upon reaching the 8th floor the elevator bang gard and I thought i was gonna end up back in the lobby.. I guess the state is paying for many perminant residents here. And currently no free breakfast they are putting in a Mexican restaurant. . But this is ok priced. But I think most of hotels in Winston Salem are super outdated. I think room prices just a bit high..

Did not had breakfast there. I had too checkout immediately because there was a gunshot and the whole jolted were so unhygienic

The room was unlocked somebody already used the bathroom and had mess around, did not even flashed the toilet. The moment I get to my room I heard a gunshot. Room, halls had very bad smell. Felt very unsafe when I saw bunch of sex workers walking around almost naked. Smell marijuana in front of the hotel. Do not recommend for family stay!
