First floor room was very noisy, both from children constantly running up and down hallways, and from the room above me. I also did not like the sheer white curtains in the window that allowed people from the outside to see inside, and there was no way to completely close the dark "black out" curtains.

Very comfortable bed and clean

Could be better maintained. The ceiling in the bathroom was flaky and had signs of rust. Caulking around the bathtub is also not the best. Heard all footsteps overhead. We were on 2nd floor. We paid $307 total for a king room including $12 for parking. For a hotel like this in other cities, we haven’t had to pay for parking. It was 1 mile from downtown. It felt expensive like San Francisco prices. The body wash was very drying for my skin and there was no hand wash for the sink.

A fun hotel with the unique feature that the attached Schoolyard restaurant offers a variety of board and arcade games, both indoors and outdoors—great fun, especially if you're there with friends. There’s patio seating in two areas. The restaurant even has its own custom beer brewed—Schoolyard Blonde—crafted by the local, family-owned Antigua Brewing Company using partly local ingredients. I just wish they had mentioned that more clearly when I asked, “Do you happen to have a blonde ale on tap?” As it happens, I had decided that on this road trip I’d only order blonde ales—something I never used to drink. The room was perfectly fine—nicely decorated, Starbucks coffee. I appreciated the rolling table, which you could move over to the window if you wanted to work on your laptop. I had selected a room with a view myself using the Hilton app. The pool isn’t huge, but it does go as deep as 8 feet (2.4 meters) and includes a hot tub, with new furniture and plenty of shaded seating. It’s not clearly indicated anywhere that you need to pick up a towel at the front desk. Was able to use the nearby washer & dryers at a modest charge ($2.25). The parking lot and landscaping looked well maintained, so I decided not to park on the street (which I think was free). I even received a Hilton Diamond parking voucher—though I’m pretty sure I paid the same as a regular guest. Downtown SLO has a historic look but still feels very modern. The hotel is just a bit too far from it (about a mile), but I still needed to hit my 10,000 steps that day, so it worked out. If the hotel had been located right in the center, I would’ve given it five stars.

First visit & will return. Lobby Inviting & Relaxing. Bar & restaurant great menu & chef with many tvs with many sports to watch . Videos games outdoor seating & separated area with fit pits for conversation. Close to town. I really liked after on 101 for hour just ark & don’t have to leave! But close to everything town , Dining & Cal-Poly

Justin at the front desk was top notch. Provided great customer service. Friendly. Knowledgable. Great attitude. Room was clean and comfortable with great amenities.

In the restaurant, it would be nice to have a second staff member to take food orders. Each morning we were tight on time. We had to wait a bit to order our food due to all the fancy coffee drinks being ordered by others.

Nice location. Easy check in. Very clean. Great stay all around.

Disappointed that the carpet in the room was covered in stains.
