The sense of urgency for my situation in reference to acquiring a room at the last minute was amazing. Daniel was a godsend and a great professional with a heart of gold.

Very hospitable at front desk

I don’t know how this hotel can still qualify to carry the Marriott flagship….it is waaay below Marriott standards. The outside looks good, but inside you can tell it is an old hotel that has neglected to make necessary renovations. There is wallpaper peeling off the walls, our bathroom floor buckled in several places, and areas on the main floor that are dark and needing updated lighting. Our room had multiple plumbing issues in the bathroom….toilet leaking, sink faucet that twisted back and forth, and tub faucet that would not completely turn off-water continuously running. When we reported all these to the front desk and asked that someone from maintenance come fix these things, we were told that there was nothing that could be done….that issues like that would be looked at after we checked out. We pushed and he finally said he would have someone come take a look at it. At this point he never even had asked what our room number was. We said don’t you need our room number at which point he said, “oh, yeah, what’s your room number?” Do you think anyone ever came…..NO! Housekeeping repeatedly didn’t refill coffee supplies and we had to go to the front desk every evening to get what we needed. The traffic noise outside is unbearable….street racing at night and constant sirens ALL NIGHT LONG. We would NEVER stay at this hotel again.
