Overall , everything was reasonably good.

Was looking forward fr a good buffet breakfast as promoted, but it was downgraded to a la carte, much to our dismay. Reason was many didn't turn up fr breakfast the day earlier but we felt it was not an excuse.

Hotel foods are very Good and staff restaurant front staff and other staff members treated very well.Highly recommend for others.

It is not a five-star hotel Very old furniture Even washroom furnishings are very old The pool was not clean The breakfast option is very limited and served on the table only. There were too many flies in the breakfast place

We booked this accommodation on the day and got two triple rooms at a very reasonable price, after our driver recommended the hotel (accommodation for him too which always makes it easier for everyone). The pool was great and the hotel is modern and stylish and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Small supermarket opposite and a few places to eat although we ate in the hotel (which was good but I prefer a la carte to international buffets since I want more Sri Lankan food and less Chinese/western food!). Short drive to the town/lake. Good sized bathrooms, with a helpful drying line!

There is no hotel communal area to sit/socialise really except the restaurant or foyer. We quite wanted a pre-dinner drink and to play cards with our children (since we were in two rooms) but had to retreat back to our rooms since there was no communal area for this (eg some tables overlooking the pool would be good).
