Wyndham Phoenix Airport - Tempe

The facility needs a refresh. The hot tub was not working, nor was the heat to the pool. It was quite cold. The staff were nice. Food was limited and there were no restaurants close by. Room was clean but did need a little updating.

Easy check in with very friendly and efficient staff. Room is very nice. Onsite restaurant had just what I needed for dinner, with very pleasant servers.

Better than I expected. Nice hotel with nice rooms. If ever back in the area would definitely stay again.

Please refer to Windham customer care reference number 10121293 I just returned this evening for my final night of my stay. After making the management aware of the unsatisfactory, unclean issue of residue on the entry door and frame each and every day of my stay. Absolutely nothing has been done about it. This tells me that this hotel is completely and utterly mismanaged! It is abundantly clear there is absolutely no pride in the management of this hotel. As I stated earlier, I have stayed in many Wyndham hotels. I have never seen such unprofessionalism, inhospitable attitude anywhere in my life as I have seen here! How can you ignore an issue that a guest brings up to you each and every single day of their stay?! Simple management 101! If after the first time, it wasn’t taken care of, and I mentioned it for the second time. Don’t you think that the management would have simply come up to the room to verify that the cleaning staff was doing a proper job? Instead, as made mentioned in my original complaint, I had to deal with an abrasive and rude night manager named Lorraine who not only threatened to throw me out but to call the cops if I complained further, when she told me she couldn’t help me and I asked if there was somebody that could actually help me.

Since there was only one employee check in took longer than expected. When I arrived to my room the slider door to the outside was unlocked. The bathtub looked like it had been painted and large chunks of paint were pealed off. The tub had hair and the sink was clogged.

Make sure all tv remotes are in the rooms and fix the smell in the lobby. Also have someone inspect the rooms after cleaning would be nice.

Though the hotel is a bit older than the surrounding hotels, within the building was newly renovated and very spacious. The surrounding hotels were so jam packed I could only imagine how uncomfortable the amenities may have been. It was busy, but not packed. Really clean, and very bright. The pool was pretty neat, though it needs to be resurfaced it still looks pretty cool.

What I didn't like is that I reserved a sweet that had supposed to be conjoining rooms. The gentleman that checked me in knew the room that I reserved was supposed to have two rooms connected to each other but told me that was not available even though that's what I reserved. He did not give me a price break because I reserved my stat through a third party. I didn't feel like arguing with him so I just dealt with it. That and the sliding glass door to the patio was quite heavy to open. I did expect quite a bit more from the kitchen, but there isn't a menu to look over, and used doordash to provide my meals.

Nice hotel with comfy rooms and very friendly staff. The restaurant/bar was closed so no comments for that part.
