Ideal as a quiet base for local exploration

Our stay was wonderful and the staff were very attentive

Very traditional, rather tired hotel in beautiful location, but overpriced for what it was.

There was very little to fault with this property. The atmosphere was of peace and serenity coupled with attentive and friendly staff. The food and service was excellent. The extensive grounds provided the opportunity to explore and watch the activity in the river flanked by mature trees. Convenient resting and sitting areas added to the air of peace and tranquility.

Great, very good, nice and quiet at night, which is what we wanted, just a nice distance from the town.

Very friendly service. Interior and bathroom could benefit from some modernisation.
