Residence Inn Costa Mesa Newport Beach

I liked that the property had so many amenities to offer and was nearby to food and so many stores. Safe location, breakfast included and over the top customer service without a doubt.

I did not like that the unit we had was both outdated and run down, the room was either not cleaned properly or sat for a while without being rented as I had to clean both bathtubs and they were extremely dirty before even showering there. If I hadn’t booked for a special occasion and had all activities lined up I may have reconsidered my stay due to the uncertainty of cleanliness throughout especially the carpeted areas. I also wasn’t aware that they have long term rentals which doesn’t make or break my stay but would have been nice if we weren’t in a room near the long term renters as I feel like the quality of our room reflects as such. I expected a more modern room with it being 2026 and I think that management should invest into their property a bit more if they expect travelers to want to return.

Loved the penthouse, loved the staff. Loved that it had a fireplace. How clean it was.

My only complaint was that there wasnt any extra pillows or sheets for the couch pullout bed in any of the closets

It had everthing we needed or wanted for 6-10 day stay

It’s bit of a quibble, but there were no USB ports.

Location, room was clean

As usual since I book though booking com they have trouble either finding my reservation or my payment.

朝食に野菜が少ない。ポテトしかない。温野菜や生野菜があるとよかった。シャワーがぬるい。

It was close to the airport and all the locations of the events I flew in to attend.

Having to find parking if the ones near our room was already taken. There were some trash from someones previous stay under the couch but nothing too crazy.

This hotel is always very clean and well maintained. Second time staying here. Very friendly environment. Its Close to couple of clean beaches. Newport, Huntington and Laguna to name a few. Would highly recommend

I was excited to have what looked like such a nice two level suite online but when we arrived, everything just felt dirty and kinda smelly. The carpet made my white socks dark grey, floor wasn’t vacuumed well, found a long black hair on the shampoo holder and more black hairs in sink and shower. My husband found a scrunchy Hendon the bedside table which means they didn’t clean very well. Found two Bobby pins on the hide a.bed mattress which was extremely i comfortable by the way. Kitchen table had a few little sticky things on it. The only good thing was that the regular beds were comfortable. My husband and I gave our king bed to our son and daughter and we took the queen bed upstairs since the hide a bed was too uncomfortable. Couch was also sagging in the middle. Railings and stairs outside the rooms were all very dirty. This place definitely needs renovating. Not to Marriott standards. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left after one. Staff was very friendly and nice about it though. It was a hassle to have to find another place but we did.
