Residence Inn Costa Mesa Newport Beach

Though the staff was friendly and professional, our room smelled like a very old apartment. No amount of cleaning could take the old smell out of it. It is long past due for an update.

The rooms smelled like burnt vegetables, and the beds shifted so loudly they could be heard from downstairs. Renovations are sorely needed. I came here as a kid, but as an adult, it's growing old and needs repairs.

Breakfast was excellent which makes it very convenient.

I had to buy Clorox wipes, small space air fresheners, and Pet Febreze fabric freshener because our room smelled like terrible wet dog. Which was a waste of money because I couldn't bring them home with me on the plane carry on or checked - so I had to toss them at the airport.
