We arrived with our family to find our room at 78°, despite the chilly weather in Minnesota. When we tried to adjust the thermostat, we discovered the HVAC system would not allow cooling because it was set to “winter mode.” I called the front desk and was told that cooling was not permitted for that reason. While I understand seasonal settings, it’s unacceptable for a room to be nearly 80° with no way to cool it. We were advised to open the patio door the few inches it allows, but this did little to improve the temperature. A box fan was eventually brought to us, but there was no outlet nearby to use it effectively. We ended up sleeping with the patio door open, which made the bedroom uncomfortably cold for some while the person in the living room was still too warm. Overall, it made for a very miserable night’s sleep. The issues didn’t stop there. Breakfast was poorly maintained—the pancakes were so hard they were inedible, and food debris was left scattered around the drink area as staff cleared plates without cleaning up properly. The coffee was full of grounds every morning. This was easily the worst experience we’ve had with this hotel chain. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, even when we made an effort to engage politely. Given the price we paid for a three-night stay, we expected a much higher standard of service and comfort. Because of this experience, we’ve decided not to stay here again and have already canceled an upcoming reservation at another location. We simply can’t risk another uncomfortable stay for our family.

Room was not clean , garbage everywhere, beds were not clean.

It was great! Easy check in. The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly
