Hampton Inn & Suites Crabtree

Recently made a trip to Raleigh, NC with my brother to visit my daughter. While there, we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Raleigh Crabtree Valley. The hotel had great ratings on several sites and after staying there, it was easy to see why. First of all, the hotel itself along with the all of the furnishings looked like brand new. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well organized. The breakfast foods were very good. The best part of the hotel was the staff. All staff members were very friendly ( especially James) who greeted everyone that was coming and going through the lobby. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were very helpful and did a great job. Overall, this hotel was one of the best that I have stayed in. I highly recommend it.

Very disappointing experience. We stayed here as a family with our child during a cheer competition weekend, and the way the staff handled a room situation was upsetting enough that it actually made my daughter cry. Our reservation apparently showed as one night in the system and the hotel said another guest had booked our room type. I understand mistakes happen. What was unacceptable was how the staff handled it. Within about 10 minutes we received multiple phone calls and repeated knocking at our door pressuring us to leave immediately while we were trying to get dressed and pack our belongings. To make matters worse, the hotel had water pipe issues during our stay. My daughter was unable to shower after her competition because the water was not working, and the next morning there was significant noise from the pipe repairs. A calm explanation and a reasonable amount of time would have solved the room situation, but instead the approach felt aggressive and unnecessary. Hilton customer service later acknowledged the handling was wrong but offered no effort to make the situation right. I expected better professionalism and guest service from a Hilton property, especially when traveling with a child. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled so future guests are treated with more consideration.

The hotel was very clean! Parking lot was well lighted!

The lady that was working when I checked out was very rude. Very different experience from anyone I encountered during my stay. She was telling a co-worker about someone accusing her of being rude and when I asked about a printed receipt she grunted and said she would have to put paper in the printer. She continued talking with the co-worker never acknowledging me again until she handed me my receipt and we left. Her name may have been Coyia (not sure on spelling).

The room was very clean. Nice new shower. Check in was easy and the employees were very nice.

The curtains wouldn’t close, so we had a lot of light coming in the room at night.

Very clean place! Room had tons of space. Bed and pillows were amazing! Staff was so incredibly sweet.
