Ramada by Wyndham Fairfield NJ

The only reason I stayed here is because it was cheap. The carpets are dirty, the doors are damaged, the furniture is in poor condition, many people apparently live in the hotel, and cleanliness is lacking. The breakfast is not recommended, it’s just coffee and cereal, nothing you can really choose from. There definitely must be better places nearby.

Staying here was at the top of my list of MOST REGRETABLE decisions. The place was an absolute nightmare. The condition of the hotel was abhorrent. The smell was awful, the halls were trashed, there were bags of trash just sitting out. My room had no hot water, the staff gave no f’s. The only two help people were the women who worked there Abby and Vanessa. I had such a bad time that I cancelled the second night of my stay.

This had to be the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I have travelled extensively in the 3rd world and the $25 hotels I have stayed there puts this to shame. This place looks like it has not been upgraded in 70 years . The place is in shambles, garbage in the halls and there was no hot water. The desk said if there was no hot water by the next morning they would send someone over. By then we had already checked out. I have seen condemned buildings in better shape. Do yourself a favor. Spend another few bucks and spend your stay elsewhere. I would never have believed a Ramada property was in such run-down, poor condition.

This particular one is literally the worst out of all the ramadas, it is only around because of the indoor pool at a affordable rate but the pool is not always open and there is a lot going on in there as far as kids horsing around in there and the wild pool partying frequently. I want to just bring this to everyone's attention as well there is a receptionist there by the name Robert, I actually secretly recorded him and so did a family member of mine admitting that he was banning my entire family because my Aunt had left a bad hotel review while there for this still overpriced piece of crap with thin walls and a chronic towel shortage among a host of other problems. He was given the authority to be the manager of this establishment at the time & his temper is out of hand, he then wanted to make it seem like we had been arguing so loudly because he didn't want to admit that the truth is he banned us for a bad review while he was on duty & didn't want to get in trouble with the owner. Well Robert the plan you had has backfired, the only reason why Robert is actually still there is because since this hotel has become infamous news wise there is a huge turnover rate among staff & even the guest coming to it aren't like before. For the money you spend there for a night, you can go to a hotel that has a pool that doesn't actually have a broken stairwell, just think about that! If the indoor pool that might not be open without prior notice is closed then there goes the whole trip, it literally is that bad! This hotel also tends to attract a lot of the homeless and drug users as well. I would only stay there if I absolutely had to even though as a formerly homeless person I can tell you that sleeping in the car is preferable because at least you don't have to pay to be disrespected left and right!
