So even after reading the reviews on noise and whatnot I decided to give it a shot. Since aloft is a Marriott brand I usually have positive stays. Check in was smooth and easy. Got to the room and it’s a nice size. Everything looks good from “looks” alone. After getting our bags down and charging our phones I decided I wanted to make a cup of coffee. I open the coffee maker to add water and see it’s already filled BUT has a moth or a fly dead floating in it. I dump the water and look inside and it’s slimy and looks like mold sludge. I decide to skip the coffee and one the way out to the concert inform the front desk staff. The girl phoned maintenance as we were leaving and stated it would be changed. We arrived back just before midnight after the show and there’s no parking anywhere. Mind you they have work vehicles taking up a decent amount of spots parked sideways and even some container pods. So I have to park at the entrance in a non parking spot to ask where we park. They inform us there’s no more parking available in the paved areas and we have to pull back out to the main road, drive over the sidewalk, and up onto the grass past the sidewalk. So I park and so do the other vehicles arriving back for the night. I go up to the room with my daughter and the door is open about 2 inches. We look around and no one was in there. I’m guessing the door never latched after maintenance went in BUT our items have now been available for access from about 5:30pm-11:45pm. Unacceptable. The noise is extremely loud at night so people are right about that. I’m not even mad about that. The next morning I go to make coffee expecting a clean coffee maker and I look inside. The coffee maker is dirty and gross. I skip the coffee. I explain this down to the front desk again and she couldn’t do anything but offer coffee from the station near the bar. As we checked out she gave me a card for the manager and said I could email him photos if I’d like to. If the coffee makers aren’t even being cleaning after addressing it the first time I would totally Say they’re probably cutting corners elsewhere on cleaning.

Is ok

Great location. Near everything. Also had a restaurant on premises. It was just ok but convenient.

The lighting. There is no overhead lighting in the room. And the bathroom lighting is harsh and horrible. The food on premises wasn't the best either.

The visit was very wonderful it is a pleasant place to be. the pool is gorgeous they even have a nice lighting outside at night time there is a lounge there's a cafeteria there's free dog leashes dog wipes dog bones I love that it's dog friendly the food itself is amazing all workers are so kind and very friendly the atmosphere is so cheerful prices are reasonable I would definitely stay here again for a weekend. And it's right next to dadeland Mall very convenient.

The hotel amenities were told of the line. Food and bar were also top notch. It was very locally centered to everything. I would highly recommend.

I just wish it was flexibility with check out time other than that hotel was nice

I loved the Aloft very friendly staff. The room was very clean. The food was very good. The drinks was very good. Would come back
