Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown-Arena by IHG

The location was awesome. The Atmosphere inside was just beautiful and so spacious. The room i stayed in was so beautiful so clean and comfortable, the bathroom was amazing also! There was so noise where we were so it was amazing. the service and amenities were fantastic and above and beyond. I will definitely be coming back here

Location was ideal for our needs. Place was a much better value than the other options we explored.

Bed was not very comfortable. I think the mattress was past its useful life.

The location is great. It’s right next to old town in downtown Sacramento. We went to a concert at the Golden one center and it is a great place to stay for concert concerts there. The decor of the rooms is outdated and unfortunately, parking is expensive.

The staff was excellent. Front desk, Security, Hotel is in a good location, right off the freeway, local police sub station on property basically. Small “open mall” with food etc., within walking distance

Cleanliness, they should check for bedbugs, my son got bit all over the top of his back, we thought mosquitoes at first, unless he got bit about 17 times by the same mosquito. Just overall unhappy, the room I paid for was not available, I reserved a King bed for my wife and I, with a sofa bed for my 20 yr old son, and was given a Double bed room, due to overstays blah blah blah, they were extremely helpful in trying to get me in the correct room the next day, but we were tired from driving all day the night before when we checked in, and had unpacked everything etc. The “Chrome cast” feature on the 32” inch 2010 Lg TV was not working, that was annoying, they need to fix the whole entertainment situation, the water in the shower was slow to drain, so you were showering in water up to your ankles…one of the toilet paper rolls was stuck and you could only pull 1 or 2 squares at a time, we always bring our own toilet paper and soap just in case, good thing, because the soap dispenser attached to the wall was empty…overall just bad. We decided not to have room service our whole stay, just new towels…We didn’t know about the bedbugs until Sunday night at home, when our son showed us the bites on his back. We arrived to the Hotel on Wednesday night and our son arrived Thursday evening. We checked out on Sunday morning very early, and drove back to Vegas.

Room was not ready at check-in and desk clerk did not know her job and continued to argue with us about price we booked for. FINALLY , after about 20 mins she went and asked another employee and confirmed we were right, not her. She should of gotten assistance with my booking right away instead of givingng us a hard time and making the 6 people in line to check in wait
