I just want to give a Big Thank You and Shoutout to Coreyell and Mrs. Joy anc the entire Le Meridian staff for their first class hospitality and making the Team Durant Girls Family fell right at home!

First time stay at this property and in the Central Business District. Great location! The good: Big shout out to Brittany at Valet. She made our first impression great! She also engaged with us every time we entered or excited the property. The bad: This hotel needs cleaning! Managers, look at the floors and doors of the elevators. They are filthy. Also the carpet in our room looked like it has not been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. I kept shoes on my feet the entire stay. Overall the hotel is nice. Good places to sit and lounge, and a modern feel. A good clean up will do you good!

Update May 17th, 2026 - The hotel responded to my original review that they were sorry and would handle this internally but no offer to fulfill the gift card offered by the employee. Here is my review from my March experience. I booked a room here through Travel Zoo but when I got there it was canceled. I had booked it 4 months in advance. I spoke with Tyishia on Friday, March 20 when I tried to check in only to realize our reservations were canceled. Tyishia offered me a gift card good at the Le Meridien New Orleans hotel. She gave me her email: tyishia.askew@mariott.com I emailed her a few times and received no response. She was not a person of her word. I’ve had several bad experiences within the Mariott chain. I’ll never stay at a Mariott property again.

Good location, reasonable walking distance from both the French quarter and the conference venue, decent facilities including an outdoor pool

Pool maintenance could have been better, but water was clean.

That i was charged twice for one room.
