Delta Hotels by Marriott Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront

Waterfront view was amazing and swimming hot tub was relaxing after a long walk.

Very disappointing as this hotel doesn’t provide or include breakfast which is surprising as I have been to many hotels with free breakfast. Delta hotel should consider including free breakfast. I am not going to consider booking this hotel again. Also other waterfront hotels also include free breakfast, instead of having a restaurant inside you should be looking to provide free breakfast. And restaurants can be open for other times. Not happy, I stayed as a family with two kids and my kids were unhappy too. Finally I had to get them Starbucks and thanks to Starbucks.

No stopper in the bathroom sink. Do they really want male guest to run the water constantly in order to shave?? Absolutely no hold bars in the tub for a guest to hold while showering? I thought that this was a building code requirement. very unsafe for an elderly guest. The parking is awkward as all the prime spaces are dedicated exclusively for coffee shop patrons. We found parking spots to the west of the building but you need a room key to use the hotel door. We told staff about the lack of hold bars n the bathtub and they replied "Yes, we get a lot of complaints about that." Well Delta, do something.!!!!! I have stayed in a number of Delta hotels in a number of cities and this was by far the poorest hotel I have visited.

The meal we had at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

We should have asked for a bathroom with safety bars in the bathtub. We had no problems, but my husband doesn't have great balance, and it would've been helpful to know that we could've requested a room so equipped.

There was NO breakfast

Old worn out place. Dirty tile grout. No fan in washroom. Pd for view it was partial, mostly parking lot

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The only issue is that the carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced, especially in the elevators.

We experienced a very noisy night up until 11 pm with a concert taking place right next door. If it's important for you to get early to bed, I'd suggest that you look into what's happening on the waterfront that night before you book'

I wasn't expecting much from Sault Ste Marie, but I was wrong. The hotel was great, the view from our room was awesome and the restaurant was also excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
