Location was nice and the room was renovated

The trip didn’t start off well. When I arrived they didn’t have the room that I had booked a King size bed, so I was told I was being moved to a double queen but at same cost. Then I tried to explain to the woman at the counter that my room was already paid through bookings but she insisted that the only way I was getting a room was to pay through the hotel claiming that her computer had a note from bookings to pay on site. Again I tried to show her my app that the room was paid but again she didn’t want to listen. Running late for our appointment I chose to pay for the room again and Called bookings immediately. So hopefully something gets settled. The room was nice and freshly remodeled but the AC was struggling and the room remained warm. The parking garage was difficult with a Ram truck as they had a lot of construction items on the first floor and seemed to be recent work done in the flooring of the parking garage so I had to maneuver around so that I would hit the cross beams of the parking garage. Location was nice.

The lobby has an immediate musty odor upon aarrival. As you look around it is apparent that most common areas are dated, worn, and dirty. To get to the pool you pass employees o ly areas with trash bags in hally way and a few tripping hazards. Staff at front desk was very curt and unwelcoming. No water or refreshments to greet guest. The room was in very nice condition, clean and newly renovated. Location is great. The value is questionable. Top dollar for the area , but not a top dollar type of proeprty or service.
