Quality Inn Sumter

Nasty. Also a pet charge that was not advertised. Rude check in staff and it took a long time.

After I left, the hotel charged from my bank account without noticing me and when I called they denied one of them, explaining the other one is occupancy tax which wasn’t explained to me when I checked in. The person who answers the phone hang up on me the first time I called. Terrible experience, felt unsafe about my bank info.

Well when i got there i had to give 100 dollars . They kept it for 2 days then put back in bank account.

The room was comfortable & clean & The breakfast selection was excellent...All my favorite foods especially grits..I will stay again.

The lobby was in better condition than the rooms. They spent their money making the lobby and dining area nice. The breakfast was gross. The eggs and sausage shouldn’t be class it’s food because it was so fake. My room had old carpet with huge stains. I needed to separate remotes to control the tiny tv. The microwave was from the 90’s. The bed as old and sagging. There were cockroaches and spiders all around the room. I would never book here again.

No heat in room, no ice mechine,air coming in room from underneath the door.

OMG this hotel was unbelievably run down. I honestly didn’t expect it to be so worn the pictures on the Internet are deceiving as the hotel looks nothing like photos but the end-all was there were two roaches in the room one on the wall and one in my bed after one night we had to check out we left and will never return it was so disgusting when I called the office to inform them of the road and he said nothing silence not a word. Furniture dusty and chipped profusely. Drawers wouldn’t close and dim lights throughout. Worst experience ever!

The property is older, but is currently going through renovations. It was ok for one night, but had i known it was going through renovations i i wouldn't have booked it.
