We had a great stay and felt like home because of the wonderful staff. It seems like a busy area not much to look at from the street, but the rooms are good size, clean and comfortable. It is a convenient location to mid coast region plenty to do in Bath area, Popham beach, Reid State Park, Maritime Museum, and downtown Bath shops. A day trip to Boothbay and lots in between. Lobsters are a must! The hotel has a nice swimming pool, outdoor area, and lobby. Rooms are cleaned every other day. We stayed here last year and will be back again.

I travel both domestically and internationally and have stayed at numerous Marriott properties. The Residence Inn Bath is one of my favorite -- perhaps my very favorite - hotel. The staff is consistently friendly, efficient, and ensures an enjoyable stay. Most recently my family, including my 92-year-old mother who is wheelchair-bound, stayed at the hotel in early October. It was another outstanding experience. Every aspect of our stay - room and facility cleanliness, breakfast, maintenance, common areas, check in/check out, etc. - was terrific. To a person, every employee we engaged with was sincerely friendly and upbeat. I want to particularly compliment Joan at the front desk. She was exceptionally helpful including helping my mom figure out how to work the shower in her room, arranging extra towels and supplies, and enthusiastically recommending local restaurants and activities. I appreciate her competence and kindness. My family and I are already looking forward to our next stay at the Residence Inn Bath.

The room had more than we needed. It had a full kitchen. The bathroom had a very nice large shower and plenty of vanity counter space. The king bed was very comfortable. The living room space was extra roomy. It had all that we needed and more. The breakfast was excellent.

Thought this was an excellent hotel for the money. Fairly close to downtown with a nice pool and outdoor courtyard. Easy to drive to the State park beach about 20 minutes away.

The amenities in the hotel and the room were nice except the carpet in our room was covered in long white dog hair. Also, a water pipe in the hotel broke in the night so we woke up to no running water in the sinks, couldn’t flush the toilet and couldn’t take a shower. We understood this was beyond anyone’s control, but the hotel staff chose not to notify us of the situation aside from a sign at the front desk saying sorry for the inconvenience and giving out two 20oz bottles of water when we came to ask why there was no water in the room. Very poor handling of the situation.
