Holiday Inn Resort Lake George - Adirondack Area by IHG

Family went to the Lake George Winter Carnival and not every place is open in the dead of winter, so we decided to go off script and stay at a chain hotel. We chose Holiday Inn because of its proximity to the town and it looked nice. It was very nice. The rooms were clean and there’s a restaurant and lounge area in the lobby that were very nice and convenient. You could walk to the lake if you wanted but it was so cold, we drove lol. It’s only about a 2 minute drive it’s so close. Anyways, the resort has an outdoor pool which, of course, was closed so I can’t comment on the state of it. The view is spectacular from the top floor. Next time we head up there, we would seriously consider staying there again. You should too

Great hotel with so much to do! I am staying here now. Breakfast is good. They offer great activities. We will be back to visit again!

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed as if we were family. The staff from the cleaning , front desk, and restaurant were all friendly and made our four nights absolutely memorable. TR’s restaurant was excellent. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day. Actually one of the best kept secrets in the area. Great food at a great price. The hotel offered everything. We really enjoyed the outdoor heated salt water pool. Yes even in October. Excellent location. We will be returning just to stay at this great resort.

Hotel was fine. Restaurant understaffed but lots of amenities, good view, reasonably close to Lake George waterfront (walking distance on nice days).

Always the best in town! Been coming here with my family every year for 10 years. The place is always amazing. Location is unbeatable. Short drive to the main Lake George area. Easily walkable to the bars and restaurants if you want to partake in a few adult drinks. Close to the outlets, mini golf, and great escape. Literally nothing is more than 10 minutes away. The resort is on a hill so it has wonderful views of the lake. Highly recommend spending a little extra to have a 3rd floor suite with balcony overlooking the lake. Restaurant on site is excellent and reasonably priced. Want to relax one day? So many things to do on the grounds. Basketball court. Large chess board. Indoor pool. Outdoor pool. Kiddie pool. Putting green. Sauna. Jacuzzi. Easily able to make a full day right on site. The best part is always the staff. Never had a bad interaction but this trip Hailey was a star. She was unbelievably helpful with every request and this trip we had a lot during check in. Always smiling and personable. Great welcome to the stay. Cookies at night. Fire pits outside. We literally wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here for our annual trip.

Hotel is very nice, the staff as well! The hotel is very clean, lots do do, and the facility was beautufil
