Holiday Inn Resort Lake George - Adirondack Area by IHG

Wonderful property....highly recommend staying at the Lake George Holiday Inn Resort.

Great location, clean and quiet

Everything was amazing from the food the comfort of ours room. Everything was close by I will definitely be returning back soon.

We have been going to the Adirondack Nationals for the past 20 years. The 1st year we stayed at the Holiday Inn and it was fine but i always felt it was such a long walk yo the show, however after staying there this year i realize it's definitely not. I dont think i will stay anywhere else now, its clean, up to date, it has several pools, trolly stop to shopping is right out front...The only thing is its not on the water, but the positive out way the one negative.

TONYA AND COURTNEY ARE THE GREATEST! Thank you both for always going above and beyond. What a team! Had the greatest stay ever, all the details were there and excellent service.

Eveeything about the hotel itself was amd always is wonderful. Beds are very comfy. The restaurant is good. Its a great location. Only wish patents knew how to control their childen when staying in hotels... screaming and yelling at 6am isnt my favorite way to start the day.

PROS: This hotel is conveniently located in Lake George and walking distance to the village shops, restaurants and boat cruises. The staff was incredibly friendly and the pool was very clean. CONS: It is very loud at the hotel in the mornings. We are a family of three that likes to sleep in. We were woken up every morning by screaming children running down the hallway, sometimes supervised by parents and sometimes not (parents: please teach your kids appropriate hotel hallway etiquette). On our final morning we were woken up by landscapers, probably around 8:20am. If you like to sleep late, find another hotel. Housekeeping could be better. While the room was very clean, when we arrived there were no linens in the closet to make up the sofa bed. When we called for linens, they did not bring blankets and brought only one pillow. Multiple calls to housekeeping resolved the issue. On the second day we did not receive housekeeping because we were not out of the room by 10:30am. The next day we received housekeeping but the body wash in the bathroom was empty and housekeeping did not check to see it needed a refill. While the main bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was very creaky. Overall, I think the price was a little high for what we received but the location and resort amenities are really nice. The poolside manager’s reception on Wednesday afternoon was a really nice touch.
