I had a great stay. Breakfast was great. Staff are always around, helpful for any needs. Restaurant on site had a great taste.

Lo único que “destacaría” como mejora es que las chicas del bar no sabían hacer algunos de los cócteles de la carta, pero tampoco es algo malo como tal

El mejor personal del mundo. Siempre amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Merecen todos los elogios. Los cocteles son muy buenos y no tan caros como en otros lugares.

Es una construcción algo vieja, tenía más expectativas por las fotos y la denominación de resort. La comida es extremadamente cara comparada con otros lugares de la zona y no vale la pena.

Forget about the rustic beauty and the proximity to the stunning beach. The staff made my stay unforgetable. From manager to barman and waitresses i was made to feel Karibu Sana. I truly believe I've made some good friends and memories there. Great Unyama lol... That ones for you Khayaya.

The location is perfect - situated right on the beach, about mid-way up the island, with a gorgeous stretch of white sand coastline to walk for hours. The accommodations are pretty and comfortable, and the staff are excellent! Hotel manager Jamal is more than willing to help you book additional excursions and make sure you get to where you need to go. Sasha in the front office was super helpful as well - always friendly and ready to provide assistance. The included breakfast was good as well.

The wifi was occasionally hit and miss due to local power outages, although that was beyond the venue's control - something to be aware of, however. The cuisine they serve is good quality and the chef was inventive: the menu for dinner, however, is a bit limited, so if you are staying more than a few days then be prepared to visit other neighbouring hotels to find diverse options. The cuisine available is good, though!

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem sehr ruhigen Sandstrand. Fußläufig (etwa 800m) gibt es einige kleine Restaurants und einen kleinen Laden. Möchte man zu Ausflügen in Stone-Town / Nungi, so ist es eine längere Fahrt z.B. mit einem Dala-Dala. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend

Der Strand an sich ist sehr schön, jedoch finden sich im Wasser Millionen von Seeigeln. Auch mit den Wasserschuhen des Hotels war es uns nicht möglich, dort unbeschwert zu baden

An excellent location right on the beach, clean and cozy rooms, and delicious food. Booking a room in a front of the beach unforgettable sunsets and ocean breeze guarranted🤩 Matemwe beach is secluded, nobody will disturb you, sunbeds, swimming if tide is high and long walks if low. I can recommend this place, this hotel and friendly staff to everyone who need a nature for relax

Absolutely brilliant place. Very helpfull staff, all of them smiling and ready to help, lovely people willing to share their culture! The garden is very nice, well maintained, and we were very satisfied ( sometimes even more) with the meals. Highly recommended.

My only criticism is the coffee situation, i would have loved to have real coffee instead of instant, but i know they had a machine that had a technical problem during our stay.
