An-Airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree

Within walking distance on sidewalk to town, beautiful view, large bathroom was exceptional- had large tub, towel warmer, great water pressure. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Very nice to have coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room. Hosts were helpful and friendly, including letting us visit resident doggy- Oaty. Highly recommend!

Nothing to dislike.

Alan couldn’t have been more helpful. He cleaned the room so it would be ready for our early midday arrival, he brought me peppermint tea for our room, he checked to see if we had everything we needed, he brought our ordered breakfast (absolutely delicious) to our room with a smile each morning & he gave us great information about what to do & see nearby. So many little things at this b&b that made our three day stay so much more comfortable & special. Great quiet location from which to explore amazing Skye!

Alan and Alex make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The room had everything we needed and our view was beautiful. They shared with us the ins and outs of Skye. We were able to explore places we didn’t even know about! Breakfast was delicious, The best porridge I had in my trip! So accommodating and gracious. Book here!

Our host made us feel really welcome, and was there when we arrived. The room we booked had a wonderful view of the bay. One evening, we saw four common bay seals swimming around for about 45 minutes. Facilities in the room include a fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. On two nights, we decided to warm up ready prepared meals from the Supermarket. This was because on our first night, two of the places we went to turned us away-some hotel restaurants give preference to the hotel guests. Breakfast is freshly prepared and there is a range of very delicious hot food. The porridge was really nice. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom well designed and very clean.

Out of all of our beautiful stays on our trip to Scotland, this one was our favorite. We had a delicious breakfast delivered to our room each morning and enjoyed our tea with a view right from our room. Our hosts were so kind and offered history and suggestions on what to do and where to eat in the area. The walk into town was short and scenic! We loved meeting Alex & Alan's dog Oatie too! Thanks for a wonderful stay in Portree.

This was such an amazing place to stay for 3 nights, I wish we stayed longer! The room was very spacious and the bathroom was large as well. Breakfast was always prompt and delicious each morning. The views from the room were the biggest highlight for us with two comfortable chairs facing out to watch the water, we even saw seals! Alan was outstanding as a host! He gave a tour of the room and a run down of stay stay when he met us on arrival, and answered any question we had. He would also see us in the mornings as we were heading out to ask what we had planned for the day and give amazing suggestions on what to see and how to get there etc. Honestly, this was the best part of our trip, Skye was gorgeous and having a place like this to come back to and unwind was amazing. We cannot wait to go back!
