Hotel Lyskirchen Köln

I liked the location and buffet breakfast. The kids enjoyed the nutella pancakes and the juice machine. The location was fabulous we walked into town and for dinner and to a small shop for alcohol also. All in walking distance from main attractions.

Bit of difficulty with luggage and 3 flights of stairs we had to walk to get to our apartment. There were stairs everywhere! No way easily to get bags to room. We were also a family of 5... and split up. I assumed the two rooms we booked were at least on the same floor... they were actually in neighbouring apartments. When I asked the apartments thjs question no wonder they didnt answer it. Myself and 2 children were in one room (next door apartments) and my husband and 1 child was in the other hotel room. We could have easily fit my family in the one apartment if there was a single rollaway bed. Maybe this could be an option to hire as my 6 year old could have fit even in a small space. The smaller hotel room smelt very much like ciggarette and as anti smokers we could not get rid of this smell at all. Its almost like it was on the fabrics.

Location was excellent - close to the old town and plenty of bars/restaurants a few minutes walk away. Lovely room with comfortable beds. Used the swimming pool which was good to cool off during the hot weather

Die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe. Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut (glaube, es ist nur eine Belüftung, war trotzdem super). Gute Privatssphäre.

Leider waren tagsüber Bauarbeiten in einem Nachbarzimmer. War nicht ganz einfach, wähenddessen im Zimmer zu arbeiten.
