As I was preparing to leave the room and check out house keeping banged on the door very hard and loud which was unnecessary

Whatever the advertising was online was different when we got to the hotel

At first the front desk was friendly, and then that declined when there was an issure. There is a billing error. I was charged twice for two different amounts. 291.48 and then 441.48. I only stayed two nights. They keep telling me to contact my bank. My bank says the hotel is holding my money. When I contacted the front desk this morning the front desk manager was very rude and told me to keep waiting for a refund. This is unaccepatble as I was charged over 700.00 for a two night stay. The refrigrator did not work, the room smelled terrible, and bed sheets did not get changed. Overall this was a terrible experience and I will never stay here again! .

Good proximity to the metro. Clean facilities.

The "included breakfast" that I paid extra for was a sham. All they do is give you a $16 voucher for their restaurant where meals start at $16 and are overpriced. This means you can get the smallest, simplest meal. But, you will still need to pay for your drink plus tax and tip for the server. I was expecting a self-serve, continental breakfast. We ended up paying $20 for our breakfast the first day (that was after using the vouchers for 2 people). So, we decided to not use the vouchers the rest of the days and purchase breakfast from Dunkin or Wegmans nearby. Don't do the Breakfast included option here. It is a waste.

The beds. The bathroom was clean.

I had to go to three floors to get ice. The mirror frame in the bathroom has disintegrated and is exposed. The entry to the hotel is difficult to access. The breakfast was advertised as "included" with purchase but each item was individually priced and we ended up paying more money and the selection on the menu was not inclusive. Paid parking not appreciated. The carpet looks dirty throughout the hotel. The hotel price is high for what you get. I tried to call the front desk from the room phone and it didn't answer and I had to call the hotel's phone number as there was a TV issue. The hotel looks like it's in it's end time, given the wasted surrounding and run down condition. It looks tired and old. I stay only at HI any I can safely say this location has been disappointing and doesn't reflect the standard of HI that is expected. I feel scammed.
