Holiday Inn Alexandria at Carlyle by IHG

Nice hotel

When I checked into the hotel, I asked the front desk if breakfast was included. They told me yes it’s from 6:30 to 11:00. They also charged me an additional fee for the parking lot. But in the morning, when I went downstairs for breakfast, they told me that breakfast was not included and that I had to pay for it myself. I was really upset and disappointed. What made it even worse was that when I booked the room for one night, the price was $116, but they charged me $136 instead. That really made me feel frustrated and unhappy.

Elevators didn’t work & microwave didn’t work.

Staff was friendly and attentive

The hotel had a weird smell in the hallways and bathroom. Covid be from old carpet. Not sure?

Location to the metro

Getting staff to respond to problems! The food was not good

Large incidental fees 150.00 that was not returned. Free breakfast that was limited and taxed.
