The location by the water is beautiful and it's not severely lacking as a hotel room and facility, but not having hotel staff on site or baggage drop off is a nuisance. And if you're going to be going into Toronto it can be a long trip through slow traffic.

The pictures are deceiving. Our room reeked of stale cigarettes and the air was thick with moisture. The carpet is disgusting. We chose this place because it had a small kitchen and when traveling with a toddler that comes in very handy. This place is not toddler friendly. There is no front desk so between the hours of 1-5am when the room next to us was throwing a loud party there is no one to help. My whole family didn’t sleep. There is also some sort of adult club attached to the building. We parked in the back of the building and had to pass drug addicts in an alcove on the way to the front. Also, no elevator so you’re stuck hauling your bags up the stairs. We never got our check in email and after calling and waiting for the manager to call back, he informed us Expedia didn’t share our email to give the check in info. Needless to say, we canceled our second night and found a Marriott to stay in which was clean, quiet, and smelled good.

Convenient location, clean and quiet.

Location worked very well for us. Liked the contactless check-in. Room was the right size. Easy to find parking. Only downside as there is no housekeeping for 2 night stays, it would be more accommodating to have some dish soap and a dish towel that you can clean your mugs and other kitchen stuff during your stay.

Love the apartment feel and the easy check in . The way the rooms are separated is perfect .

We needed to contact customer service regarding the smell of marijuana, which was not their fault, and they were super quick to respond and take care of us. And they also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. So nice! The room was extremely clean and comfortable

Read this review before you book this hotel! Pros: 1) IF you are a traveler that’s seeking an overall “Experience” over superior accommodations then this is your place! The interior is very tastefully decorated with very little thrift in mind. Loved the way every inch was utilised to maximise the space! This is not detected from the exterior. They have added a whole quaint touch to the meaning of “Boutique.” 2) The area is good walking distance from virtually everything you’d need. It’s great to just explore the shops. 3) As veterans of MANY years of international travel we can say we always felt safe and people in the area were extremely helpful and cordial! Cons: 1) When you read the words “Virtual assistants “ one would think you would have timely responses. This was not the case. When you need something as we did when the TV late in the evening was not receiving the ONLY channel that Is offered (Netflix) you have to attempt to make contact and wait for a response from an answering service who then calls “someone with answers?” The same happened in the morning when our suite (ART suite) did not have a hair drier even though it was listed in the ammenities, leaving me waiting for an hour and my hair less than flattering for the BIG day planned! 2) Your free parking consists of 5 spaces for 11 units so…good luck!! 3) The unforgivable con is the condition of the mattress! It was so broken down my husband and I were stuck in a hole in the middle all night! UNACCEPTABLE!!

One of these new "hotels" with no staff. Also, no dresser, a bed that barely fit in the room and the only seating is directly under the TV -- it's been a long time since i sat on the floor to watch television. Lighting is modern bare filament -- not very homey. Bed was good.

The propertry was well maintained and as advertised - easy electronic access - the email suggesting places to eat was out of date - 1 of the 3 restaurants was no longer in business. The second had lost credit card access so was cash only - we did not visit the 3rd - there we little or no other options nearby
