DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta/Roswell - Alpharetta Area

We were in Roswell for a long weekend wedding celebration with a large group of family and friends. Upon arriving at the hotel, we knew it was going to be a great experience. Ericka was at the front desk, and made the check in process so easy, and even gave us some warm cookies. She is simply the best!!!!!!!! Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Whenever we needed anything from extra towels to toiletries, Ericka and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our group we even able to provide Ericka with some flowers for the front desk when we returned from wedding. A bonus surprise was a personal short video from her that our friends took when they checked out and sent to us. If there is one thing to note, some of the ice machines on several of the floors were not working, but the bar attendants on the first floor were more than happy to fill our ice bucket. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area in the future. There is so much history and many fun places to visit in the city. Make sure to visit some of the fantastic restaurants on Canton Street.

Great location and comfortable stay!

The staff was unaccommodating. I called them several times and talked to different people, all of whom were extremely unaccommodating and not very kind!

Clean, nice rooms well located for the event we were attending. Ericka was a front desk employee who went above and beyond to make our stay great. She was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Everything WAS great, from the lady at the counter (Ericka) to the lady that took care of our room (Mireya) they really made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed

The staff came off simply amazing especially Ms Erica Burns. She went above and beyond when I had an issue with getting my room. She was kind, compassionate, and understanding in helping to calm me down.

Great stay in Roswell. Ericka and the woman bartending and serving breakfast provided exceptional customer service. They made me feel at home! My room was clean and comfortable. Great experience all around!

Ericka Burns was amazing! The most helpful receptionist and so kind. Anything we needed she was there to help with a smile!

The good: The location is wonderful, convenient to everything. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of drawers. Parking is free and plentiful. The bad: The rooms could use some work. Our bathroom door didn't close and a part of the shower handle was loose, making it awkward to use. The elevators sometimes took a ridiculously long time to arrive, so we had to use the stairs, even though they deposited us outside. The desk clerk scolded my husband for not waiting patiently enough during a 15 minute wait for a new key while she baked and then handed out cookies to people who walked up after him (probably the cookie recipients are the ones writing the glowing reviews of the desk clerks here). When we arrived at breakfast in the first hour it was open, it was lovely, if unexceptional, with gracious service. But one morning when we arrived a little later, what a difference. The buffet was allowed to go empty and it took a waitress 45 minutes to find some decaf coffee for my husband (at first she insisted they didn't have any). I really wanted to love this hotel, as it is the closest one to my son's new house. But I will be trying out other hotels a little further away for my future trips.
