Magic View Apartments

Everything about our stay was exceptional. It was genuinely one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The apartment was really spacious with high ceilings and everything you need for your stay. The location was excellent, a short walk into the Old Town over the bridge. Dino was an excellent host and always easy to contact and communicate with. Our flight was delayed on arrival by over 4 hours and so we didn't land until after 1am into Zadar. However Dino ensured that everything was sorted for our arrival. We will definitely stay again if we return and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

There is no lift so it is quite a few stairs to the apartment. Nothing major but just worth noting if there are mobility issues.

Location was fantastic. Lovely views and just a short walk over the bridge to the old town, with it's shops & restaurants. The apartment is on the top floor of an old building (82 steps), so it's quite a surprise to step into this lovely modern apartment. We found it quiet, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Thanks to Dino for meeting us to hand over the keys and keeping in touch during our stay to ensure all was ok. There are one or two bakeries within walking distance so easy to get a croissant or pastry for breakfast. The little supermarket is useful for basic items and we used it a few times during our stay. We ate at Restaurant Giardin, next door, a couple of times and found the food to be nice and the staff very friendly.

We felt the chairs and settee in the main lounge were in need of attention as they were a little shabby. also the material on the bedstead was beginning to flake. This could be that it's the end of the season and these are jobs which are due to be actioned, but it has caused us to mark it down. Porat, the cafe just along from the apartment is nice, the food was good, but we found the coffee to be cold, which was disappointing.

Everything was perfect! Our host Dino arranged an airport shuttle for us - a lady (I forgot her name) picked us up on time from the airport and gave us loads of information on the approx 20 minute drive to the apartment. We were met there by Arte who had the keys. He carried our bags for us up to the 3rd floor to our apartment (there is no lift), and showed us around a fabulous apartment! Everything you could possibly need is in this apartment, all very clean, very quiet and the bed was really comfortable too. I think we spent more time in this apartment than any other holiday apartment! Dino also put us in contact with a company to arrange a tour to Plitvice Lakes - excellent service from them too!

Very central to Old Town spotlessly clean with all modern conveniences

Only complaint maybe the flights of stairs up to apartment but even that didn’t spoil our stay
