Best Western Downtown Stuart

The staff is terrific. This is our second stay here. I remembered the gentleman who was also at the desk our previous stay. He is patient and kind. Best Western is lucky to have him. I appreciate the really reasonable pet fee of 35 dollars a night. The bed is comfortable. The guests with dogs are grouped together at the back of the property which makes sense. The rooms have no carpet which is terrific.

The rooms have been been somewhat remodeled. The water pressure was fine but the tub/shower is dated. The faucets could be updated. The floor was very dirty. It's dark, so you can't initially see the film of dirt. Please bring slippers or flops. Walking on the floor without wearing some sort of footwear is not an option. This is a motel. There is large window while adequately covered with a good blackout curtain. The door has a bit of a gap around the casing and the you can "rattle" the door. The back is adjacent to a mobile home park. They enjoyed louder music in the afternoon/early evening that you could hear while in your room, but your television could drown it out. The pool looked really charming at our last stay, while currently being repaired.

I was lured to the property with the promise of the beautiful pool in the picture, unfortunately they over me 150$ for just a 12 hour stay.

The pool was closed and emptied, which had been the only reason I went there.

Very tired and old fashioned room in need of a major modernisation Hotel was located right under flight path of local airport and room windows were not glazed sufficiently to muffle the aircraft noise. Likewise, I was woken at 5.00am, with the tooting of a train horn

Room was spotless and bigger than expected.
