The bar closed at 10 pm so we couldn't get a nightcap after seeing a show

Nothing- it was great

The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. Great attention to detail. Hotel decor was great.

Our room was just a bit dark being at the back of the hotel, but the rest was perfect.

A great hotel, spotlessly clean with amazing staff and top quality breakfast with lots of options. We had booked a Concert / Gig, Event at the Spa Theatre which was literally at the bottom of the hill just a 5 min walk away. The little fenicular tram / lift is a great way to get down or up to the sea front and it operates until 10:30 so after the gig there was no slog up the hill path to the top.

Only thing that was a little disappointing was the size of the room and the shower. The photos on Booking.com show two types of room, it doesn't stipulate which one you will get on arrival. We ended up in the smaller of the two. Noise from the TV in the room next door was also a bit annoying. Next time we will pay for a Bay View Room.

The property is absolutely stunning and outstandingly clean
