the sheets were harsh, they did not clean my room the 2nd day of 3, customer service was non-existent

I didn’t like the hallway carpet to the rooms, it seemed dirty and hard to pull roller suitcases. Shower drain was clogged, issues with the safe.

Great value and location! Just a short walk to bars, restaurants, and shops!

The hotel was in a great location, walkable area for restaurants and drinks. Transportation was near as well and take us to the outlets, pier and other places. Would go back again.

It was beautiful with a lovely view.

We stayed at The Volare near San Clemente Beach, Ascend Hotel Collection for two nights and really enjoyed it. ✅ Location – the best part! The hotel is within walking distance (about 18 minutes) to the ocean, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and restaurants. Starbucks is right around the corner, the San Clemente Outlets are just one exit away, and it’s also very convenient to Camp Pendleton base. There’s even a free shuttle that takes you directly to the beach. ✅ Hotel & Room – everything was clean and comfortable. Our room had two queen beds and a nice bathroom. The hotel feels well kept, and even the room keys were fun and unique. ✅ Service – check-in at the front desk was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly. ⚠️ Only downside – there were no outlets or USB ports near the bed, so we had to charge our phones at the desk instead of the nightstand. It wasn’t a big issue, but it would be more convenient to have them by the bed. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for a short stay – perfect if you’re here to sleep, explore the town, walk to the ocean, and enjoy the local restaurants. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return.
