Quality Inn Alamosa

The staff that checked us in was very nice and gave a great recommendation for supper that night.

There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, no Kleenex, no spare toilet paper. One of the handicapped handles in the bathtub was only connected on one end. The wall below the light switch was filthy. I kept finding little wads of hair all over the bathroom floor.

We thought the door looking out into the lobby and unique layout was cool. We had no issues with cleanliness in the room and the front desk worker was kind and funny. Although advertised as no breakfast, we were told once checking in it was available and had a decent selection- waffle maker, muffins, refrigerator with yogurts, etc. For the average traveler, it was a decent night stay. If you're looking for upscale/resort type, I dont think it will meet your expectations.

The pictures online definitely don't show how dated the hotel is. We checked out the pool shortly after checking in and found the slide wasn't available. While it was considerate to have a restroom/changing room in the pool area, the smell in the women's changing room was so strong I opted to wait to use the restroom in our room. Side door entrance to our hallway was propped open with a rock our entire stay.

Distance from great sand dunes

The restroom was awfully dirty. I was able to switch rooms but all toilets seemed to be filthy.

Comfortable beds!!

Room was FILLED with smell of cig smoke. We so not smoke tobacco

The bed!! Perfect. Great location.

We were put in a room right next to the entrance and could hear everything all night. Could also smell smoke from outside even though windows were closed.
