Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island

My husband and I booked this room 12 hours away from our home. The room was absolutely disgusting and did not look like any of the pictures on booking.com. They are now giving us the run around regarding our refund!

DISGUSTING!

The location

Room was dirty. Rusty nails in the room and windowsill. Hair in the bathroom and tub as well as lipstick and brown marks on the shower curtain. Staff was not readily available and I stood at the desk for half an hour to check-in before anyone showed up to help. Staff was rude, short, and seemed bothered checking me in. Elevators were extremely small and slow..often taking 5+ minutes to reach any floor. The pool and hot tub were both closed during my stay as well.

The bed was very hard I came home with back pain and then the shower barely let out water I stayed in room 618

1. Location was excellent, right on the beach 2. There's fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker in the room. 3. Good parking ($13 payment) 4. Some toiletries included in the room (shampoo,conditioner,bath gel,hand soap, lotion) 5. On site bar and restaurant. 6. Friendly staff

1. Door to the balcony was hard to open / kinda stuck (needs lubricant), balcony floor was moldy and slippery due to water from ceiling constantly dripping to the wall and down to the floor (room was on 2nd floor) 2. Shower has weak water pressure 3. Restauant has limited food options.

The location was awesome but the hotel was horrible. For this hotel to make so much money, they don't invest back into the hotel. It was like staying visiting the slums.

It was like staying visiting the slums The paint was peeling off the wall in the room, dog hair was all over the room and time you stepped out the elevator, you would think you're at a dog shelter. All you heard was dogs barking. The carpet in the hallway was filthy and it stunk.
